Wreckers' Yard or "Scrapyard" is one of 9 Maps in the Autohaven Wreckers Realm
. The map has 2 variations.
Lore
The Junkyard is packed with sharp objects. Walking around the area, aware of the bloodbath that took place here, changes the landscape. Blood covered metal and bits of flesh. One does not willingly walk amongst all this evidence of death.
Landmarks
Wreckers' Yard is one of very few Maps without a significant Landmark other than the Killer Shack.
Most of the space is taken up by high walls of scrap broken up by scrapped vehicles such as buses, cranes, and tankers, as well as the occasional patch of trees.
The Killer Shack is located in the centre of the map, and will always contain the Basement.
High walls won't spawn next to the shack; instead it is surrounded by low walls, pull-downs, open space, and the occasional hill. However, there usually spawns a small hill next to it.
Change Log
Patch 3.7.0
- Balance: adjusted the general lay-out of the Map's tiles, making the Map more rectangular rather than elongated.
- This change did not affects its overall size.
Patch 4.4.0
- Rework: updated the Map's visuals and assets as part of The Realm Beyond - Part Three.
Patch 6.7.0
- Balance: reduced the Maze Tile count from 6 to 5.
Trivia
- In the Game files, Wreckers' Yard is referred to as "Scrapyard".
- On the official website, another name is Open Junkyard (The Junkyard).
