The Shattered Square or "QuantumLevel01" is one of 2 Maps in the The Decimated Borgo Realm.
Lore
Daro, a village that once bustled with life and industry, suddenly razed to the ground. The gorgeous, cobbled roads of this medieval Italian settlement ran red with the blood of her citizens, all due to the "righteousness" of the Guardia Compagnia.
The Entity's Realm has preserved and distorted this ancient village, its rubble forever smouldering. A large gathering hall stands in its centre, still upright despite its scars. Several shacks litter the landscape in varying degrees of disrepair. The pain suffered here still emanates from the crackles of its embers.

The Gathering Hall
The Gathering Hall is the main landmark on The Shattered Square.

The Gathering Hall contains a Generator in the upper floor.
The Gathering Hall potentially contains up to two Chests, one of them being guaranteed to spawn in the upper floor.
The Gathering Hall potentially contains a Totem:
- Outside the building.
- In the lower floor next to an entrance.
- In the shed-like structure attached to the building.
- In a corner of the upper floor.

Layout
The Gathering Hall is a small medieval tavern-like structure. It is attached to a fenced off area and a shed-like structure. The building has two entrances in the lower floor, and two drop-offs in the upper floor.
The Marketplace
The Marketplace is a secondary landmark on The Shattered Square. It is mutually exclusive with the Gallows tile.

Layout
The Marketplace is an elevated platform fitted with market stalls, crates, and boxes. There are two staircases leading up to it opposite of each other. Players can drop down freely from the platform since it is not fenced off. There are additional stalls surrounding the platform.
The Gallows
The Gallows is a secondary landmark on The Shattered Square. It is mutually exclusive with the Marketplace tile.

Layout
The Gallows is an elevated platform fitted with a gallows, a cage, and a pillory. There is one staircase and one ramp leading up to the platform. There are other gallows and cages surrounding the platform.
The Tree
The Tree is a secondary landmark on The Shattered Square.

The Tree potentially contains a Totem next to a wooden table.
Layout
The Tree is a large, leafless tree with crimson roots, twisted in unnatural ways. There is a small well attached to it, in addition to small market stalls, hay bales, crates, barrels, tables, and rocks scattered in its vicinity.

Change Log
Patch 7.3.0
- Reduced the Map's size from 168 sqT to 144 sqT by changing the Map's shape from a 14x12 tile rectangle to a 12x12 tile square.
- Moved the main building of the Map from the centre to a corner.
- Adjusted collisions.
- Cleaned up low and sloped objects.
- Changed the arrangement of tiles to block line of sight.
Patch 7.3.2
- Increased the maximum number of Pallet-spawns to prevent large areas without any Pallets from spawning.
- Updated the quality of loops to reduce their safety.
Trivia
- While the Intro Theme upon loading into the Map begins the same as the one for its sister Map (Forgotten Ruins), the latter's ends differently with a dull thud instead of the metallic noises of a sword being forged, which thematically fits The Shattered Square as the one that released alongside The Knight
.
