Accidental Assumption
PumpKing998: Really sorry for the edit. I thought the date added was an edit made by someone who hated The Knight to spread false information.
- With the information available on the page, as well as the disclaimer at the top pointing to the Chapter Pack, such an assumption should not have been made in the first place.
Consider this a light warning to read things more thoroughly in the future before you attempt to make an edit like this, especially since the page history would have shown that I was the one to add that information and you can rest assured that I am the last person to spread misinformation, it would literally go against everything I strive for in being a Wiki Guardian (never mind that I actually like playing as Knight, I have no hatred towards him). PumpKing998: Honestly when I reread the history and saw your name after my edit, I immediately realized the mistake. My brain was just really used to seeing other people's comments of their immense dislike towards Knight in social media, it ended up seeing the phrasing and retirement term as being such. And also I completely forgot about the packs they're releasing, so my bad lol. I'll be sure to pay more attention next time, I'm sorry again for the assumption. Thank you! (April 20th, 2024)
Vision radius expansion duration
Vision radius expansion duration has been decreased from 1 second to 0.5 seconds with this latest patch as shown in the game files and ingame despite not being listed in the patch notes
Outdated values
Although the changelog has the changes from patch 8.1.0, the power trivia was not modified, e.g. the values of "Hunt Duration" and "Flag Materialization Time" are swapped between "The Carnifex" and "The Jailer" like before that patch.
"Nerf: added a Cool-down after a Guard completes an Order of any kind before a new Guard can be summoned."
I believe this is unchanged from knight's previous iteration as guards active time have always been succeeded by the power ready delay value, so the actual change should be documented as the power ready delay being increased from 3 seconds to 10 seconds, I've changed the value of the power ready delay as such but not the description of the change as I feel I may be missing some context. The change should also be listed as undocumented
"The Knight is unable to see Survivors in this mode, as well as their Scratch Marks and Pools of Blood, but can still see their interactions with the environment."
Through in game testing it can be seen that the knight can see pools of blood while in guard summon mode, though I've left this unedited as I wonder if this is considered a bug and I don't know how bugs are considered within the documentation, also note this has been the case since at least before patch 6.5.0
