PSA FOR EDITORS INTENDING TO ARGUE ABOUT ASH'S ORIGIN

Our Ash (= Dead by Daylight Ash) originates from the 2015 series Ash vs. Evil Dead and not from the movies from back in the 1980s.

We do NOT have 1980s young Ash/Bruce Campbell in the game, but rather the old one from the 2015 series "Ash vs Evil Dead", which, since it literally shares the name with the DLC, should be the ultimate hint.

This has been discussed ad nausea and since some people still do not get the hint, edit rights have been revoked for non-Administrators for the time being. This discussion is closed and will not be re-opened.

Ash might be the first survivor to have full memory of his past.

Page Name

In the game, Ash is called "Ashley J. Williams." However, his wiki page name is "Ash J. Williams" and in the characters template, it's "Ash Williams." Is there any particular reason for this? Doesn't really matter to me, just wondering. R34l R1ch4rd N1x0n (talk) 08:45, 5 April 2022 (UTC)

Alone Wolf

I saw something interesting on the Wikipedia page for Dead by Daylight. Next to his description as an "alone wolf" there was [sic], which indicates that the preceding words are quoted exactly as found in the source material. [sic] could possibly be put into his info box next to his description on this page in order to avoid confusion with people believing it is a typo. That is the exact reason [sic] was added to the Wikipedia page.
