The Survivors' task is to try and escape from the RealmsIconHelp procedural.pngIconHelp procedural.pngIconHelp procedural.png of The EntityIconHelp entity.pngIconHelp entity.pngIconHelp entity.png in which they are trapped.
In order to do so, Survivors must complete the following tasks:

  • Repair a certain number of GeneratorsIconHelpLoading generators.pngIconHelpLoading generators.pngIconHelpLoading generators.png to power the Exit GatesIconHelp exitGates.pngIconHelp exitGates.pngIconHelp exitGates.png.
  • Open at least one Exit Gate and leave the Trial Grounds or escape through the HatchIconHelp hatch.pngIconHelp hatch.pngIconHelp hatch.png.

Meanwhile, the KillerIconHelpLoading killer.pngIconHelpLoading killer.pngIconHelpLoading killer.png will be trying to locate, catch and hook Survivors in order to sacrifice them to The EntityIconHelp entity.pngIconHelp entity.pngIconHelp entity.png.

Despite Survivors being vulnerable to the Killer, they have a useful set of core abilities to hide and escape from the Killer.


Modus Operandi

According to The ObserverIconHelp archivesGeneral.pngIconHelp archivesGeneral.pngIconHelp archivesGeneral.png in Arcus 07, the Survivors are snatched from the many worlds The Entity travels and are forced to suffer endless agonies, which nourish The Entity with an indescribable psychic sustenance.

While some Survivors embrace the endless Trials as they search for a way to escape, others do not realise that they are caught in an endless cycle of torment and live the horror anew each time they are resurrected after having been sacrificed.

Those Survivors repair Generators, power the Gates and run for their lives only to do it all over again, and again, and again.

If Survivors lose their ability to feel anything, they are discarded into The Void as empty shells.
Currently Vigo and The Observer are the only known Survivors that have managed to find a way out from the Void and to bend The Fog's irrefragable rules to their will.

  • They have unhooked you.

Aftercare resets its effect once you are hooked.

The empowering effect depends on the result of you rolling a d20 and lasts for 90 seconds after completing the Performance:

  • 1: You scream, but without notifying the Killer.

  • 11 - 19: Skill Checks grant +2 % Progression.

    • Blinds all Players within 12.5 metres of the Trapped Generator.
Blast Mine deactivates after triggering successfully or once the timer runs out.

    • This effect lasts for as long as you both remain within 16 metres of one another.
Blood Pact is temporarily disabled if you yourself are the Obsession.

Reduces your chance of becoming the initial Obsession by reducing the default value by -100 %.
The Killer can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.
