.
Prestige Taurie Cain to Prestige 1, 2, 3 respectively to unlock Tier I, Tier II, Tier III of Shoulder the Burden for all other Characters.
History
Once per Trial, and while you are not on
Death Hook, press the
Active Ability button while standing in front of a
Hooked Survivor to unhook them and trigger the following effects:
- Trade 1 Hook Stage with the other Survivor to their benefit.
- Causes you to scream and suffer from the Exposed Status Effect for 60/50/40 seconds.
Once per Trial, and while you are not on
Death Hook, press the
Active Ability button while standing in front of a
Hooked Survivor to unhook them and trigger the following effects:
- Trade 1 Hook Stage with the other Survivor to their benefit.
- Causes you to scream and suffer from the Exposed Status Effect for 30/25/20 seconds.
Change Log
- Nerf: doubled the PTB-durations of Exposed from 30/25/20 seconds to 60/50/40 seconds.
Trivia
- Swapped Hook States are indicated with a special Yellow Pip on the Status HUD and is uniquely also visible to the Killer, telegraphing the Perk's use.
- Shoulder the Burden triggers the unique Score Event "Burden Shared".
- The Exposed Status Effect is not tied to the scream and does still apply even if the scream is suppressed by any means (e.g. using Calm Spirit
or Hardened
).
