Prestige Claudette Morel to Prestige 1, 2, 3 respectively to unlock Tier I, Tier II, Tier III of Self-Care for all other Characters.

  • Nerf: reduced the Self-Heal Healing speeds from 40/60/80 % to 30/40/50 %.

Patch 1.7.0

  • Buff: no longer affects the size of Healing Skill Checks Success zones.
  • Buff: increased and modified the Self-Heal Healing speeds from a variable 30/40/50 % to a fixed 50 % across all Tiers.
  • Nerf: reduced the Efficiency bonus towards using Med-Kits for Personal Healing from 50/75/100 % to 10/15/20 %.

Patch 6.1.0

  • Nerf: further reduced the Self-Heal Healing speeds from 30/40/50 % to 25/30/35 %.
  • Nerf: no longer improves the Item Efficiency of Med-Kits used for Personal Healing.


Calculations

Self-Care functions by reducing the default Healing speed (1 c/s) to 0.25/0.3/0.35 c/s.
In code, and important for stacking with other effects, this is achieved by reducing the default Healing speed by -0.75/-0.7/-0.65 c/s:

  • Before the introduction of UnbreakableIconPerks unbreakable.pngIconPerks unbreakable.pngIconPerks unbreakable.png, newer Players often mistakenly believed that Self-Care would allow them to fully self-recover from the Dying State.
  • On the, now discontinued, original official website, Self-Care featured a different flavour text to its current one:
    "I'm not dying here in this hellhole!"
