Change Log
- Buff: increased the Action Speed penalty from 7/8/9 % to 10/13/16 %.
- Nerf: the Status Effects are now timer-based, instead of lasting until the Survivor is healed.
- This change was motivated by a general change in design-philosophy for the Mangled Status Effect.
- Change: following the departure of CHAPTER 21: Hellraiser™ from Dead by Daylight in March 2025, this Patch changes Scourge Hook: Gift of Pain depending on whether or not Players own the Chapter or not:
- For Players owning CHAPTER 21, the Perk remains unchanged as a Unique Perk belonging to The Cenobite

.
- This includes the original name, icon and flavour text.
- For all other Players, the Perk is changed into a General Perk available to all Killers, renaming it to Scourge Hook: Weeping Wounds and giving it a new icon, replacing The Cenobite's chains with Entity-claws instead.
