Prestige The Houndmaster to Prestige 1, 2, 3 respectively to unlock Tier I, Tier II, Tier III of Scourge Hook: Jagged Compass for all other Characters.
History
At the start of the Trial,
4 random Hooks are changed into
Scourge Hooks:
- The Auras of Scourge Hooks are revealed to you in white.
Whenever a Survivor is unhooked from a normal Hook, the following effect applies:
- The Hook is converted into a Scourge Hook.
Whenever you hook a Survivor onto a
Scourge Hook, the following effect applies:
- The Aura of the Generator with the most progression is highlighted in yellow for 6/8/10 seconds.
Trivia
- Scourge Hook: Jagged Compass does possess the ability to turn the Basement Hooks into Scourge Hooks.
- However, unlike Scourge Hook: Monstrous Shrine
, it will only apply to the specific Basement Hooks a Survivor is unhooked from, instead of converting all four at once.
- Scourge Hook: Jagged Compass triggers a unique sound cue whenever a Survivor is unhooked.
- Scourge Hook: Jagged Compass's effect of turning a Hook into a Scourge Hook takes precedence over other Scourge Hook perks that activate on an Unhook, meaning combining the two aforementioned perks allows the latter perks to be activated on all unhooks. This is not a bug and is confirmed to be intended design by a community manager (see Gallery)
