Prestige Jake Park to Prestige 1, 2, 3 respectively to unlock Tier I, Tier II, Tier III of Saboteur for all other Characters.
History
Unlocks potential in your Aura-reading ability:
- While the Killer is carrying another Survivor, the Auras of all Hooks within 56 metres of their original Pick-up location are revealed to you:
- The Auras of normal Hooks are white.
- The Auras of Scourge Hooks are yellow.
Unlocks the ability to sabotage Hooks without Toolboxes:
- Increases the Sabotage speed without a Toolbox by +30 %.
- This effect has a cool-down of 70/65/60 seconds after use.
Unlocks potential in your Aura-reading ability:

Change Log
- Nerf: reduced the Sabotage speed without Toolboxes from 40/60/80 % of its default value to 30/40/50 % of its default value.
- Quality of Life: reduced the default chance of triggering Sabotage Skill Checks from 15 % to 10.5 %.
- Buff: now increases the Auto-Repair timer of sabotaged Hooks and Bear Traps.
- Buff: modified the Sabotage speed from a variable 30/40/50 % of its default value to a fixed 50 % of its default value across all Tiers.
- Quality of Life: removed the negative effect of reducing the Success Zones of Sabotage Skill Checks.
- Change: removed the positive effect of increases the efficiency of Toolboxes during Sabotage.
- This change was motivated by a general change to Toolboxes that removed the Efficiency penalty when using them for Sabotage.
- Buff: now reveals the Aura of all Hooks within in a given radius around the carried Survivor's Pick-up location to the Perk user.
- Buff: instead of slowing the Sabotage speed to 50 % of its default it, it now increases it by +20 %, resulting in a Sabotage duration of 2.5 seconds without Toolboxes.
- Nerf: using the Perk to Sabotage without a Toolbox now incurs a Cool-down (that does not affect the Aura-reading effect) of 90/75/60 seconds.
- Change: updated the Perk icon to reflect the fact that Bear Traps can no longer be sabotaged, only Hooks.
- Quality of Life: now allows Survivors to distinguish between the Auras of normal Hooks and those of Scourge Hooks, changing the latter's colour to yellow.
- Buff: increased the Sabotage speed without Toolboxes from +20 % to +30 %, resulting in a Sabotage duration of 2.3 seconds without Toolboxes.
- Buff: reduced the Cool-down duration from 90/75/60 seconds to 70/65/60 seconds.
Trivia
- Before Patch 3.6.0, when Bear Traps
could still be sabotaged, Saboteur's icon reflected that fact by portraying a broken Bear Trap.
- On the original official website, Saboteur featured a flavour text: "Hopefully this'll buy me some time."
- It should be noted that sabotaging a Hook
with Saboteur does not prevent the creation of a Loud Noise Notification, which will inform the Killer of the action.
