Description

Only those deemed worthy of Uroboros can achieve true potential. Dead by Daylight: Resident Evil: PROJECT W features a new Killer – Albert Wesker, The Mastermind – and new Survivors Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers. Purchasing this add-on unlocks an exclusive charm: Green Vial.


Killer: The Mastermind

The Killer is Albert Wesker – The Mastermind–. A visionary as brilliant as he is ruthless, Albert Wesker’s strategic mind is unrivalled. While some plans require intellect, others call for brute force. Rush forward to seize Survivors in your grasp and give them the gift of Uroboros – a necessary step on the path to evolution.

The Mastermind's Power

SPECIAL ABILITY: VIRULENT BOUND
The Mastermind starts the Trial with 2 Tokens.

SPECIAL ATTACK: BOUND ATTACK
Press and hold the Power button to charge Virulent Bound, reducing his Movement speed to 3.68 m/s while he prepares to strike.
Press the Attack button to initiate a Bound Attack, consuming -1 Token, or release the Power button to cancel it.
Press the Attack button again during the Chain Bound Window of 2 seconds to initiate a second, longer Bound Attack, if there is still a Token available:

  • Increases his Movement speed to 14 m/s during a Bound Attack.
    • The first Bound lasts for 0.5 seconds.
    • The second Bound lasts for 1 second.


SPECIAL INTERACTION: SURVIVOR COLLISION
Colliding with a Survivor at any point during a Bound Attack has multiple possible effects and interactions, which depend on the Survivor's current states regarding their health, infection, and interaction:

  • If the Survivor is interacting with a Prop or another Survivor, or is protected from entering the Dying StateIconHelp dying.pngIconHelp dying.pngIconHelp dying.png by a third-party effect, The Mastermind attacks them with a quick swipe of his tentacles:
    • Uninfected Survivors become infected with Uroboros and receive damage.
    • Infected Survivors receive damage.
    • Critically Infected Survivors receive double damage and are downed, unless they are protected.
  • If the Survivor is not interacting with a Prop or another Survivor, The Mastermind grabs them with his tentacles and continues travelling the remaining distance of his Bound Attack.
    • If he collides with an obstacle before ending the Bound Attack, either of the following applies:
      • Uninfected Survivors become infected with Uroboros and receive damage.
      • Infected Survivors receive damage, after which injured Survivors are released and dying Survivors are hoisted onto his shoulder.
      • Critically Infected Survivors receive double damage and are hoisted onto his shoulder.
    • If he does not collide with an obstacle before ending the Bound Attack, he throws the Survivor in a straight line, after which either of the following applies:
      • Uninfected Survivors become infected with Uroboros and receive damage, if they collide with an obstacle during the throw, after which they are released.
      • Infected Survivors receive damage, if they collide with an obstacle during the throw, after which injured Survivors are released and dying Survivors are downed.
      • Critically Infected Survivors receive double damage, if they collide with an obstacle during the throw, after which they are downed.
  • In any case, the Exit GatesIconHelp exitGates.pngIconHelp exitGates.pngIconHelp exitGates.png are blocked to the Survivor for the duration of the Bound Attack.
    • This effect lingers for 5 seconds after they are released.


SPECIAL INTERACTION: VIRULENT VAULT
Colliding with a dropped PalletIconHelp pullDown.pngIconHelp pullDown.pngIconHelp pullDown.png or a WindowIconHelp window.pngIconHelp window.pngIconHelp window.png during a Bound Attack causes The Mastermind to automatically vault over it.

SPECIAL AFFLICTION: UROBOROS INFECTION
Uroboros grows in strength over time, which is indicated with an Infection Meter on the Survivor Portraits in the HUD:

  • Both Uninfected Survivors and Infected Survivors gain +20 Charges upon colliding with The Mastermind during a Bound Attack.
  • Infected Survivors passively gain +0.8 c/s at all times, unless they are hooked or downed.

Being hooked resets the Infection Meter to 1 Charge.

Once the Infection Meter is full at 100 Charges, Infected Survivors become Critically Infected:

  • Causes them to suffer from a permanent -4 % HinderedIconStatusEffects hindered.png Status Effect.


SPECIAL ITEM: FIRST AID SPRAYIconItems firstAidSpray.png
Survivors can cure themselves or other Survivors from Uroboros by locating a Supply CaseIconHelp supplyCase.pngIconHelp supplyCase.pngIconHelp supplyCase.png and searching it for a First Aid SprayIconItems firstAidSpray.pngIconItems firstAidSpray.pngIconItems firstAidSpray.png:

  • A total of 6 Supply Cases spawn in random locations in the environment.
  • The Auras of Supply Cases are revealed to Infected Survivors at all times.
  • Each Supply Case contains 1 First Aid Spray with 2 uses.
  • Using the First Aid Spray triggers Killer Instinct for 4 seconds.

While carrying a Survivor, you benefit from the following effect:

Whenever a Survivor performs a Rush Vault action within 8 metres of your location, Superior Anatomy activates:

  • Increases your Vaulting speed by 30/35/40 %.
Superior Anatomy deactivates after vaulting.
Superior Anatomy has a cool-down of 30 seconds.

Terminus "You are a brilliant tactician who prepares for every eventuality."

Once the Exit GatesIconHelp exitGates.pngIconHelp exitGates.pngIconHelp exitGates.png are powered, Terminus activates:

  • Causes all injured, dying, or hooked Survivors to suffer from the BrokenIconStatusEffects broken.png Status Effect.
    • This effect last until one of the Exit Gates is opened, after which it lingers for another 20/25/30 seconds.

After repairing GeneratorsIconHelpLoading generators.pngIconHelpLoading generators.pngIconHelpLoading generators.png for a total of 40 %, Wiretap activates:

  • Press the Active Ability button while near a partially progressed Generator to install a Trap, which stays active for 100/110/120 seconds.
  • Whenever the Killer comes within 14 metres of the Trapped Generator their Aura is revealed to all Survivors.
Wiretap deactivates after the Generator is damaged or once the timer runs out.

Completing a Healing action on another Survivor grants them the following benefits until they receive damage again:

  • Increases their Action speeds for Blessing, Cleansing, Healing, and Unlocking by 12/14/16 %.

Hyperfocus You throw yourself entirely into your tasks and find ways to be more efficient than anyone else.

Succeeding a Great Skill CheckIconHelp skillChecks.pngIconHelp skillChecks.pngIconHelp skillChecks.png while repairing or healing grants +1 Token, up to a maximum of 6 Tokens:

  • Increases the Skill Check Trigger odds and Pointer Rotation speed by +4 % per Token each, up to a maximum of +24 %.
  • Increases the Skill Check Bonus progression by 10/20/30 % of its base value per Token, up to a maximum of 60/120/180 %.
Hyperfocus loses all Tokens after succeeding just a Good Skill Check, failing one, or if the action is interrupted by any means.

  • Press the Active Ability button while within 6 metres of a hooked Survivor to pause their Sacrifice Process for the next 20/25/30 seconds.
    • This also pauses any Skill ChecksIconHelp skillChecks.pngIconHelp skillChecks.pngIconHelp skillChecks.png, if the Survivor is in the Struggle Phase.

Reassurance can only be used once per Survivor per Hook Instance.
