CHAPTER 22: Portrait of a Murder is the twenty-second Chapter DLC for Dead by Daylight
, released on 30 November 2021.
It was retired on 14 May 2024 and its content incorporated into the Endless Hunt Pack Chapter Pack DLC.

Content Availability
While the Chapter's content was incorporated into the Endless Hunt Pack Chapter Pack DLC, its content can still be purchased separately in the In-Game Store
, including the formerly exclusive Cosmetic Piece for Jonah.
With the retirement of the DLC, its content has been permanently halved in price, with The Artist and Jonah costing 250 Auric Cells
or 4,500 Iridescent Shards
each.
Trivia
- Prior to the release of the Chapter, there was an ARG teaser.
- A website detailing personal information about the upcoming Killer aswell as artwork they made was created, but it also contained a hidden console terminal.
Upon inputting the names of the artworks and a passcode, the console would reveal a set of numbers.
If you combined the first 3 numbers, or just the fourth and final number, and then converted it to letters would reveal the message: The Black Vale.
