Description

You have learnt that a quiet approach is sometimes best.

After being unhooked or unhooking yourself, Off the Record activates for 60/70/80 seconds:

• Prevents your Aura from being revealed to the Killer, if they attempt to read it.
• Suppresses Grunts of Pain when injured.
• Grants the Endurance Status Effect.
  • Endurance is cancelled prematurely when performing a Conspicuous Action.

Off the Record deactivates once the Exit Gates are powered.

Change Log

Patch 5.1.0

• Buff: Audio volume levels are now multiplicative, meaning that Off the Record is no longer countered by Unlockables that increases the volume of Grunts of Pain to be above 0 %.

Patch 6.1.0

• Buff: added the Endurance Status Effect, which protects the user against a tunnelling Killer for a very long time, given no game-progression increasing actions are performed.
• Nerf: now deactivates when the Exit Gates are powered.

Conspicuous Actions

Conspicuous Actions are interactions that improve one's chances of survival:

• Repairing a Generator
• Healing yourself or other Survivors
• Cleansing or Blessing a Totem
• Sabotaging a Hook
• Unhooking other Survivors
• Opening an Exit Gate

Trivia

• Off the Record deactivates only if the Survivor is unhooked after the Exit Gates are powered.
