Change Log
Patch 2.6.0
- Buff: changed the Terror-Radius modifiers to be a fixed value across all Tiers.
- QoL: updated the tier-based FOV modifiers to be numerical values.
Patch 7.5.0
- Nerf: removed the tier-based FOV modifiers.
- This change was motivated by the Developers implementing an FOV Slider for Killers, which is equal in strength to Shadowborn's old effect.
- Reversal: changed the Terror-Radius modifiers to be tier-based again, due to the removal of the FOV effect removing the formerly tier-based effect.
Trivia
Description Discrepancy
- Monitor & Abuse features a considerably different in-game description regarding the Terror-Radius modifiers, compared to the one on the Wiki.
- While the in-game description is a simplification of the Perk's resulting effects on the Terror Radius, it does not accurately describe what the Perk actually does in code.
- The Wiki description was modified to accurately reflect the Perk's code, which is important knowledge when using Monitor & Abuse alongside other Terror-Radius modifiers.
Using the simplified in-game description for any calculations would give inaccurate results.
- Players may rest assured that despite a possible initial confusion when faced with the different descriptions, the resulting effect remains the same in your average Trial.
- Please do not attempt to inform us (Wiki Guardians) or other Players about any "mistakes" where there are none.
