Change Log
- Nerf: changed the Activation condition from Basic Attacks to triggering the Protection Hit Score Event instead.
- This change aimed to make it more difficult to activate the Perk, due to its powerful effect.
- Buff: the Perk no longer becomes disabled after use, but rather just deactivated.
- This change allowed the Perk to be activated multiple times in a Trial, rather than just once.
- Rework: reworked the Perk to actually use the Endurance Status Effect instead of just displaying its icon and made it easier to activate.
- Buff: reduced the Activation requirement from 3 to 2 Protection Hits.
- Nerf: now reveals the Aura while the Perk is active, instead of after healing back to full health.
- Reversal: reverted the previous changes.
- This reversal was motivated by an overwhelmingly negative community response to the new Perk, perceiving it as considerably weaker.
- Quality of Life: no longer displays the icon of the Endurance Status Effect.
- This change acknowledges the fact that Mettle of Man never was a proper Endurance Perk, as it always displayed a unique behaviour.
Trivia
- Mettle of Man also protects Survivors currently suffering from the Deep Wound

Status Effect.
- Contrary to some beliefs, Mettle of Man does not protect healthy Survivors taking double damage.
