Overview

Maps are used to track and reveal the AurasIconHelp auras.pngIconHelp auras.pngIconHelp auras.png of various Interactables located throughout the Trial Grounds, though which ones specifically depends on a Map's inherent ability and equipped Add-ons.

Tracking objects is a passive ability of the Map and merely requires to come within a certain distance (by default 8 metres) of a track-able environmental object for it to be added to the Map.

The original and only Map up to Patch 1.1.2:

Trivia

  • During the early months after release, Players frequently joked about the in-game icon for the Map looking a bit like a Burrito.
    • This inspired the Developers to name the Survivor's fourth Community Challenge during the 1 Year Anniversary "Stuffed Burrito".

Perk Interactions

Some Aura-reading Perks automatically add all objects they reveal to the Player's Map, regardless of which Add-ons may be used.
