Change Log
- Buff: copied the old primary effect to the secondary one, allowing it to suppress Grunts of Pain and Pools of Blood after exiting the Locker.
- Buff: increased the effect duration from 10 seconds to 30 seconds.
- Buff: removed the time limit from the primary effect, allowing it to suppress Grunts of Pain for as long as the Perk User hides inside the Locker.
- Change: removed the suppression of Pools of Blood from the primary effect.
- This aspect of the Perk had no effect, however, due to Lockers suppressing the creation of Pools of Blood by default.
Trivia
- Lucky Star's name and icon are a reference to a song and one of the final scenes of the original Alien movie from 1979.
- In this scene, Ripley, having donned a space suit, repeatedly mutters the lyrics "You are my lucky star" to herself, trying to keep herself calm as she attempts (and eventually succeeds) to blast the Xenomorph into space.
- In the Developer Update introducing the changes to Lucky Star for Patch 8.3.0, there was an additional nerf to the Perk that would remove the secondary Aura-reading effects altogether.
- This was confirmed by a Community Moderator to have been an older version of the upcoming change, which would not go through.[1]
