Camaraderie is a Unique PerkIconHelp perks.pngIconHelp perks.pngIconHelp perks.png belonging to Steve HarringtonSurvivorSteve.pngSurvivorSteve.pngSurvivorSteve.png.
Prestige Steve Harrington to Prestige 1, 2, 3 respectively to unlock Tier I, Tier II, Tier III of Camaraderie for all other Characters.

If you are hooked and enter the Struggle Phase, Camaraderie activates:

  • Pauses the Struggle Phase timer for 26/30/34 seconds as soon as any Survivor comes within 16 metres of your Hook.
Identical to the previous version, except that the Lore text was reinstated to the original version.

Patch 5.3.0

  • Retired: with the departure of CHAPTER 13: Stranger Things from Dead by Daylight, Camaraderie was reworked into a General Survivor Perk: KinshipIconPerks camaraderie.pngIconPerks camaraderie.pngIconPerks camaraderie.png.
    • Rewrote the Lore text in the beginning of the description to be more generic.
    • For Players who had owned CHAPTER 13: Stranger Things before its removal, Kinship would still show the original flavour text in the description and the Character association with Steve.

Patch 6.1.0

  • Quality of Life: added an icon to indicate to other Survivors when Camaraderie (then Kinship) is activated.

Patch 7.3.3

  • Reinstation: reinstated Camaraderie with the return of CHAPTER 13: Stranger Things.
    • Renamed Kinship back to Camaraderie.
    • Adjusted the Lore text back to that of Camaraderie.

Patch 7.4.0

  • Change: Camaraderie is now once again a Unique Perk.


Trivia

  • Camaraderie's effect is triggered as soon as a Survivor walks into the radius around the Hook, starting the pause timer automatically.
    • The Survivor does not need to remain in the radius after initial activation.
  • Camaraderie is single-use only, it cannot be reactivated after its timer has elapsed.
  • Akin to ReassuranceIconPerks reassurance.pngIconPerks reassurance.pngIconPerks reassurance.png, Camaraderie pauses the Skill ChecksIconHelp skillChecks.pngIconHelp skillChecks.pngIconHelp skillChecks.png that usually occur during the Struggle Phase.
