Whenever any Survivor is hooked, Kindred activates and applies the following effects:

  • The AuraIconHelp auras.pngIconHelp auras.pngIconHelp auras.png of the Killer is revealed to all Survivors whenever the Killer comes within 8/12/16 metres of the HookIconHelpLoading hook.pngIconHelpLoading hook.pngIconHelpLoading hook.png.
  • If you are the Hooked Survivor, the Auras of all Survivors are revealed to each other.
  • If you are not the Hooked Survivor, the Auras of all other Survivors are only revealed to you.

Whenever any Survivor is hooked, Kindred activates and applies the following effects:

  • The Aura of the Killer is revealed to all Survivors whenever the Killer comes within 8/12/16 metres of the Hook.
  • If you are the Hooked Survivor, the Auras of all Survivors are revealed to each other.
  • If you are not the Hooked Survivor, the Auras of all other Survivors are only revealed to you.

Change Log

Patch 2.6.0

  • Buff: now reveals the Auras of all Survivors to all Survivors across all Tiers.
  • Buff: now reveals the Killer's Aura across all Tiers.
  • Buff: increased the Reveal distance of the Killer's Aura from a fixed 8 metres to a variable 8/12/16 metres.

Patch 3.4.0

  • Buff: added a tertiary effect that reveals the Auras of all Survivors only to the Perk User whenever they are not the Hooked Survivor, causing the Perk to now also activate when other Survivors are hooked.


Trivia

  • Kindred was added as a General Perk with Patch 1.1.0.
  • "Sujan" from the Lost Tapes is a reference to Sujan Saha, a Community Moderator who is known by her screen-name: "Faded ♥".
  • Kindred's Killer Aura-reveal range can be increased by using Open-HandedIconPerks open-Handed.pngIconPerks open-Handed.pngIconPerks open-Handed.png.
  • The Undetectable Status Effect trumps Kindred.
    • However, before that Status Effect was part of the game, certain Killers had special immunity from being detected by Survivor Perks, including those that did not reveal Auras, but warned through auditory cues.
      Kindred would trump those special immunities.
