Invocation Perks are PerksIconHelp perks.pngIconHelp perks.pngIconHelp perks.png that interact with and depend on the Invocation Mechanic, which was introduced with Patch 7.6.0, alongside Sable WardSurvivorSable.pngSurvivorSable.pngSurvivorSable.png.

There are currently 2 Invocation Perk available in Dead by DaylightIconHelp DBDlogo.pngIconHelp DBDlogo.pngIconHelp DBDlogo.png.

Overview

Invocation Perks allow Survivors to initiate a ritual near a circle located inside the BasementIconHelp basement.pngIconHelp basement.pngIconHelp basement.png.

Ritual

After completing the lengthy ritual, a considerable bonus effect is applied, the type of which depending on the used Invocation Perk.

While at least one Survivor must have an Invocation Perk equipped in order to start the ritual, other Survivors can join in and help accelerate the process, regardless of whether they themselves have an Invocation Perk equipped or not, but having one equipped as well will increase the acceleration.

The Survivor originally starting the Invocation process is not required to participate all the way through and can leave at any time without the process interrupting, given that at least one other Survivor remains engaged.

However, any penalty that is applied for completing the process will always be applied to them, and to them only.

Once the ritual is complete, the effect of that particular Invocation Perk is applied permanently for the remainder of the Trial and a new Invocation (assuming it is a different Perk) can be started.

Progress Depletion

If an Invocation is interrupted by any means, with no Survivor participating in the Ritual anymore, the accumulated Progress begins regressing back to zero at a rate of -1 c/s, the same rate it progresses at.

Exclusivity

Unlike Boon Perks, which all apply their effects in the same Blessing interaction to the same Boon Totem, Invocation Perks are exclusive: each Invocation has its own ritual that must be completed, as indicated by each Invocation Perk being associated with its own unique glyph that appears inside the ritual circle.
