In-Game Store
The In-Game Store was introduced to Dead by Daylight in Patch 2.0.0, alongside the release of CHAPTER 8: Curtain Call.
The In-Game Store can be used to purchase various in-game content with Auric Cells or Iridescent Shards
.
It is also where Players can redeem Promotional Codes.
Overview
The In-Game Store features 6 sections, some including additional subsections:
- Featured
- Specials
- Collections
- Bundles
- Special Bundles
- Chapter Bundles
- DLC Packs
- Killers
- All Killers
- Customisations
- Bio
- Survivors
- All Survivors
- Customisations
- Bio
Additionally, towards the bottom left on the screen, Players find two buttons: REDEEM and GET AURIC CELLS.
The former triggers a pop-up text-field that Players can use to redeem/claim currently active Promotional Codes, whereas the latter allows them to purchase 6 different Auric Cell Packs.
Featured
This section features a selection of Featured Cosmetics, Characters, Bundles, and the Free Gift.
Usually, the Featured Characters are the 4 most recently added Characters and the Featured Bundle is the most recent DLC.
Free Gift
The Free Gift renews once per Week and can be claimed by clicking on it.
During the PTB for Patch 7.7.0 and the Patch's release week, which introduced this feature, the Free Gift awarded 300,000 Bloodpoints.
Specials
This section features all currently available special offers, including limited time Cosmetics and Cosmetics on sale.
The special offer is usually an Auric Cell Pack with a special unlock reward, as well as the Rift Bundle, which unlocks the Battle Pass and the first 20 Rift Tiers, and a Rift Character Bundle, which discounts the current Tome's main Characters .
Collections
This section features all currently available Cosmetic Collections, displaying their individual content and allowing Players to purchase it directly from there.
Bundles
This section features various Bundles and is divided into 3 sub-sections.
Showcases special bundles available for unlocking, Chapter bundles (previously known as DLC Chapters), and the new DLC Packs. Bundles can be opened to review their content before unlocking them, although not yet in the case of DLC Packs.
Special Bundles
This section features several special Bundles that do not fit any of the other categories, as well as the originally stand-alone Clothing Pack DLCs:
Rift Bundle
This Bundle is available for the duration that a Rift is open and contains the Rift Pass, as well as a Booster Pack of 20 Rift Levels for the combined price of 2,000 AC.
First Escape / Hunt Bundle
These two Bundles, the First Escape Survivor's Bundle and the First Hunt Killer's Bundle, contain a selection of 3 older Survivors and Killers respectively for the price of 2 of them (500 AC), allowing newer Players to cheaply expand their roster.
Weekly Special Bundles
These two Bundles, the Weekly Developer Choice Bundle and the Weekly Charm Bundle, are as the name implies on a weekly rotation and contain content at the Developer's discretion.
The former allows Players to get a selection of Charms and Cosmetics for a reduced price, whereas the latter features Charms from past (now closed) Rifts that are otherwise unobtainable.
Chapter Bundles
This section features all of the formerly stand-alone CHAPTER DLCs.
DLC Packs
This section features all of the currently available CHAPTER PACK DLCs.
Killers
This section features all available Killers, their Cosmetics, and Biographies, and is divided into 3 sub-sections.
All Killers
This section features all currently available Killers and acts as a launch pad to their Cosmetics.
It also allows Players to preview their Perks.
Customisations
This section features all currently available Cosmetics for the selected Killer, allowing Players to both preview and purchase them, as well as mix with other Cosmetics.
It also allows Players to preview the Killer's Memento Mori.
Bio
This section features the currently selected Killer's background story, their main Lore.
Survivors
This section features all available Survivors, their Cosmetics, and Biographies, and is divided into 3 sub-sections.
All Survivors
This section features all currently available Survivors and acts as a launch pad to their Cosmetics.
It also allows Players to preview their Perks.
Customisations
This section features all currently available Cosmetics for the selected Survivor, allowing Players to both preview and purchase them, as well as mix with other Cosmetics.
Bio
This section features the currently selected Survivor's background story, their main Lore.
Cosmetic Prices
The prices for Cosmetics depends on their Rarity, with rarer Cosmetics being more expensive.
There were some exceptions to this, however, which is why the Developers standardised the pricing in Patch 7.7.0, affixing it fully to the Rarity.
The current prices can be seen in the image to the right of this section.
Visceral Outfits
Visceral Outfits are pricier than regular Ultra Rare or Legendary Outfits, due to them also unlocking a unique Memento Mori animation.
They cost an extra +270 Auric Cells or +5,400 Iridescent Shards
over the standard price for their Rarity (Visceral is a tag, not a Rarity itself), resulting in a full set costing 1,755 Auric Cells
or 35,100 Iridescent Shards
.
Naughty Bear
Since Naughty Bear was the very first Visceral Outfit in Dead by Daylight, released before the standardisation, and did so with no extra cost over its Rarity, the Developers decided to leave its price as it was before Patch 7.7.0, making it the only Outfit not adhering to the standardised pricing, though to the benefit of Players interested in purchasing Naughty Bear[1].
Auric Cells vs. Iridescent Shards
In case of a Cosmetic featuring two prices, one in each currency, the price in IS is the same as the price in AC multiplied by a factor of x20.
Most Cosmetics have both prices available to them, allowing Players to purchase a Cosmetic either with money (AC) or with play-time (IS), though there are some exceptions:
- Community Cosmetics who won the Anniversary Contest and are added to the Game only ever feature a price in IS.
- Cosmetics for Original Characters are (almost) always available in both AC and IS.
- It should be noted that new Cosmetics only receive a price in IS 30 days after having been originally added to the Store.
Until then, they will only be available for AC. - If an Outfit was commissioned from a third-party artist or created in collaboration with a third-party license, they will usually only be available for AC.
- It should be noted that new Cosmetics only receive a price in IS 30 days after having been originally added to the Store.
- Cosmetics for Licensed Characters are usually only available in AC.
- Exceptions can be made when the license holders agree to sell it for IS as well.

Change Log
Patch 7.7.0
- Completely reworked the layout and main functionality of the In-Game Store, implementing various Quality of Life changes:
- Featured Page: Latest releases and Chapters, and the addition of the Weekly Gift feature.
- Weekly Gift: Allows players to claim free rewards during multiple weeks, if activated. Rewards are renewed per week, meaning that unclaimed ones are discarded when the week is reset.
- Specials Page: A dedicated page to show all special offers currently available in the game.
- Collections Page: Houses all Collections that exist in the game, and shows their content. Players can also unlock Cosmetics directly from there!
- Bundles Page: Showcases special bundles available for unlocking, Chapter bundles (previously known as DLC Chapters), and the new DLC Packs. Bundles can be opened to review their content before unlocking them, although not yet in the case of DLC Packs.
- Killer and Survivors dedicated Wardrobes: New separated independent pages for Killers and Survivors that allow for quick Mix and Matching of Characters and their Cosmetics.
- Mix and Matching specifics:
- Players can now select Characters and Cosmetics without having to equip them immediately.
- Clicking on an option allows players to preview the Character or Cosmetic.
- Selecting the Character or equipping the Cosmetic confirms their choice.
- Being able to preview allows players to preview pieces from different locked and unlocked Cosmetics, mix and matching options to be able to "try them out" before unlocking them.
- Players can now filter their Cosmetics with different options, and are able to show all options that are currently unavailable!
- Previewing Perks, Powers and Moris:
- Players now can open a little section that displays the Power and Perks of any Character that is currently selected, allowing for a smoother way to review and compare their Characters' gameplay.
- Players can now preview every Killer's Mori, including with the Mix and Match Outfits! This way players can check out how their Cosmetic choices are going to look during the Mori!
- Visceral Outfits are going to show their own version of their Character's Mori.
- Bio pages for Characters:
- These were made a part of the Characters' Wardrobes.
- They showcase the Characters' lore, height, speed and Terror Radius size. Power and Perks were moved to the Power and Perks window.
- Various changes:
- Unlocking is now done with a press and hold mechanic to allow for a confirmation process free of pop ups.
- The section for getting more Auric Cells can now be accessed through the Store, and it can also be accessed by clicking the Auric Cells counter on the top right corner of the screen.
- Kill-switched options are going to be available for unlocking, yet we are making sure to communicate it with a pop up for players to confirm they still want to proceed.
- Search bars have been included in most sections to allow finding Characters, Collections, and Cosmetics easier.
- Added a celebration pop up to better communicate that players have unlocked content or earned a reward at the Store.
- Shrine of Secrets:
- The Shrine was taken out of the Store and placed in the Characters' lobbies, to be closer to the loadout and Bloodweb.
- The layout was updated to be easier to read and use, providing key information without the need to hover on any Perk option.
