After performing the Damage Generator action, Help Wanted activates:

• Causes that Generator to become a Compromised Generator.

Once the Compromised Generator is completed, you benefit from the following effect for 40/50/60 seconds:

• Increases the Recovery speed of successful Basic Attacks by +25 %.

Trivia

• The name of the Perk is a reference to the game Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted.
• Functionally, the perk may be a reference to Glitchtrap. Since the aforementioned game is also a game in-universe, Glitchtrap manifests and becomes more powerful in that game when the player makes progress on collectibles and completes certain tasks. In Dead By Daylight, this perk benefits the Killer after the Survivors complete a compromised Generator.
