Height is one of the three basic attributes of KillersIconHelpLoading killer.pngIconHelpLoading killer.pngIconHelpLoading killer.png in Dead by DaylightIconHelp DBDlogo.pngIconHelp DBDlogo.pngIconHelp DBDlogo.png, in addition to Movement SpeedIconHelp movementSpeed.pngIconHelp movementSpeed.pngIconHelp movementSpeed.png and Terror RadiusIconHelp terrorRadius.pngIconHelp terrorRadius.pngIconHelp terrorRadius.png.

Overview

The Height attribute refers to the height of their camera in first-person and not to the height of their Character model.

While the two metrics more or less correlate, there are several discrepancies where seemingly tall Killers only have an average (camera) height.

Camera Position

As a general rule of thumb, the camera sits lower than a Killer's face for tall and average Killers.

Average Killers with a tall Character model usually have it at about chest height, with Killers whose Height attribute matches their Character model's apparent height having it slightly higher up, but not at eye-level.
