Haste
Haste is a Status Effect featured in Dead by Daylight that can be applied to both Survivors
and the Killer
.
Mechanic
The Haste Status Effect is a buffing effect that boosts a Player's Movement speed.
Most Haste effects affect all types of regular locomotion (i.e. whenever the Killer is walking), unless they specifically restrict it to a select type, which is generally mentioned in the description of the Unlockable applying it.
Types of locomotion that are generally not affected by Haste include forms of non-instant teleportation (e.g. traversing the Upside Down as Demogorgon, using The Gloaming as The Dredge
, or teleporting in Bat Form as The Dark Lord
).
The strength of the effect depends on the specific Unlockable and can be stacked when applied from multiple Haste sources.
Actions
The following Actions apply the Haste Status Effect:
- Transferring Void Energy into Unstable Rifts
- +5 % (75 % chance)
- +10 % (25 % chance)
