Gilded Stampede

Gilded Stampede is a Lunar New Year Event in Dead by Daylight that took place 11 through 25 February 2021, but was extended on the 25th for another week, ending 4 March 2021.

It kicked off the in-game celebrations in honour of the Chinese Year of the Ox.

Overview

The Event features log-in rewards and the ability to obtain the Chinese Firecracker Item.
It also introduced a new Event Item, the Festive Toolbox.

In-game changes

• Added a Lunar-New-Year-themed Lobby.
• Re-enabled the Moonrise Theme Music.
• Re-enabled the Lunar Hook Model.
• Re-enabled the Lunar Generator Model.
• Re-enabled the Red Envelope Offering.
• Added the Festive Toolbox Item.

Lunar Bonus Bloodpoints

Since the Event replaces all Generators and Hooks with their Lunar Celebration counterparts, all Survivors will automatically receive bonus Bloodpoints for each repaired Generator and Killers will automatically receive bonus Bloodpoints for each Survivor they put on a Hook.

All instances of the Red Envelope Offering will award additional bonus Bloodpoints on top of that.

Red Envelope

A special gift for the Lunar New Year celebration. As a Killer, hook a Survivor on a Lunar Celebration Hook to earn bonus Bloodpoints. As a Survivor, whenever a Lunar Celebration Generator is repaired, you earn bonus Bloodpoints. Using Red Envelope increases the amount of Bloodpoints earned for these interactions. Only playable during the Gilded Stampede Event. NOTE: During the Event, all Hooks and Generators are replaced with Lunar Celebration Hooks and Generators. "The Red Envelope is filled with crisp, new bills that bring luck and happiness."

Log-in Reward

Logging into the Game during the Gilded Stampede Event rewards Players with Bonus Bloodpoints:

Lunar New Year Sale

From 12 - 18 Feburary, the Moonrise and Scarlet Swarm Collections were on sale in the in-game Store.
These included the following Outfits:

Trivia

• Due to an internal mix-up, the Bloodweb spawned the Third Year Party Starter Anniversary Firecracker on Bloodweb-Levels 8 and 16.
  • This was unintentional as that Item bears no relations to the Lunar Event.
