Game Mode: 2v8 - Ghost Face (V4)

Game Mode: 2v8 - Ghost Face (V4) is the fourth iteration of the limited-time Game Mode Modifier in Dead by Daylight.

It is available from 15 to 29 May 2025 and is themed around one of its Killer-additions: The Ghost Face.

Overview

It features the same modified gameplay loop of 8 Survivors playing against 2 Killers, albeit once again with some changes from the previous iterations.

Limited Item

	Fog Crystal	Limited Item "Cold to the touch, the crystal vibrates from the force contained within." Press the Use Item button to drop the Fog Crystal at your feet, causing it to shatter and release a thick fog with a radius of 4 metres: Expands its Area of Effect from 2 metres to 6 metres over 1 second. Lingers at its maximum radius for 8 seconds. Shrinks and dissipates over 2 seconds. Survivors inside the Area of Effect benefit from the following effect: Suppresses the creation of their Scratch Marks. The Fog Crystal has 1 Charge and can only be found in Chests during the 2v8 Event. Limited Items are consumed on use. They cannot be brought back to the Campfire after a Trial and are removed by The Entity upon exiting the Trial.

The Game Mode features daily Log-in Rewards for the duration of the Event.
