Trivia
- Game Afoot tracks the total cumulative Chase time for all Survivors in a Trial using the same mechanic as certain Archive Challenges do.
Whoever has the highest cumulative Chase time across all their Chases in a Trial will be the Survivor on whom Game Afoot will trigger its primary effect, making them the Obsession after a Basic Attack.
- If a Survivor is no longer part of the Trial (i.e. they either disconnected, escaped, died, were killed, or were sacrificed), they are no longer taken into account in determining the Survivor with the highest total Chase time for Game Afoot's effect.
- At the start of a Trial when no Chase has happened yet, it is theoretically possible to hit a Survivor with a Basic Attack without them becoming the new Obsession.
- Game Afoot's Haste Status Effect triggers regardless of how a Pallet, Wall, or Generator gets broken, be it through the Killer breaking it manually or using their Power, or by having another Perk's effect break it.
