Firecrackers

Firecrackers are a type of Item The Survivors can use in Dead by Daylight.

They are usually added during Events and can only be obtained during a limited amount of time. They can be used to blind, deafen and stun a Killer, if they explode close enough to them, and are single-use only. However, Survivors too close to them will also experience those afflictions.

Chinese Firecracker

This Firecracker was added with Patch 1.4.0 in early 2017 for the Chinese New Year Event.

	Chinese Firecracker	THIS ITEM CAN NO LONGER BE OBTAINED FROM THE BLOODWEB (This Unlockable can no longer be obtained, but stockpiles may still be used in Trials.) A row of small explosive devices wrapped in heavy paper casing. Can be used as a distraction, as a blinding device or to celebrate. Press the Use Item button to detonate the Firecracker. Detonates into loud bangs and intense light flashes, temporarily blinding and deafening nearby Players. The Chinese Firecracker is consumed on use. The Chinese Firecracker is only available during Lunar Events.

Winter Party Starter

This winter-themed Firecracker was added with Patch 1.8.3 in late 2017 for the Winter Solstice Event.

	Winter Party Starter	THIS ITEM CAN NO LONGER BE OBTAINED FROM THE BLOODWEB (This Unlockable can no longer be obtained, but stockpiles may still be used in Trials.) A small, highly-explosive dinner table decoration. Can be used as a distraction, as a blinding device or to celebrate. Press the Use Item button to detonate the Firecracker. Detonates into loud bangs and intense light flashes, temporarily blinding and deafening nearby Players. The Winter Party Starter is consumed on use. The Winter Party Starter is only available during Winter Events.

Third Year Party Starter

This Firecracker was added with for the 3 Year Anniversary Event.

	Third Year Party Starter	THIS ITEM CAN NO LONGER BE OBTAINED FROM THE BLOODWEB (This Unlockable can no longer be obtained, but stockpiles may still be used in Trials.) A small, highly-explosive dinner table decoration. Can be used as a distraction, as a blinding device or to celebrate our three years together. Press the Use Item button to detonate the Firecracker. Detonates into loud bangs and intense light flashes, temporarily blinding and deafening nearby Players. The Third Year Party Starter is consumed on use. The Third Year Party Starter was only available during the Third Year Anniversary Event. ""Happy Anniversary! Here is to our three years together!" — The Dead by Daylight Team"

	Flash Grenade	Craftable Limited Item Craftable when using Flashbang. Can be used as a distraction or blinding device. Press the Use Item button to detonate the Flash Grenade. Detonates with a loud bang and flashing lights, temporarily blinding and deafening any nearby Players. Triggers a Loud Noise Notification. Limited Items are consumed on use. They cannot be brought back to the Campfire after a Trial and are removed by The Entity upon exiting the Trial.
	Fog Crystal	Limited Item "Cold to the touch, the crystal vibrates from the force contained within." Press the Use Item button to drop the Fog Crystal at your feet, causing it to shatter and release a thick fog with a radius of 4 metres: Expands its Area of Effect from 2 metres to 6 metres over 1 second. Lingers at its maximum radius for 8 seconds. Shrinks and dissipates over 2 seconds. Survivors inside the Area of Effect benefit from the following effect: Suppresses the creation of their Scratch Marks. The Fog Crystal has 1 Charge and can only be found in Chests during the 2v8 Event. Limited Items are consumed on use. They cannot be brought back to the Campfire after a Trial and are removed by The Entity upon exiting the Trial.
	Void Crystal	Limited Item Press the Use Item button to drop the Void Crystal at your feet: Shatters and releases a thick smoke-screen to obscure visibility. Grants you full invisibility while inside its Area of Effect. Suppresses the creation of your Scratch Marks. This effect lingers for a few seconds after leaving the Area of Effect. The Void Crystal has 1 Charge and can be retrieved from the Void Well in exchange for depositing 50 Void Energy. The Void Crystal is only available during Halloween Events. Limited Items are consumed on use. They cannot be brought back to the Campfire after a Trial and are removed by The Entity upon exiting the Trial.
