Endurance is a Status Effect featured in Dead by DaylightIconHelp DBDlogo.pngIconHelp DBDlogo.pngIconHelp DBDlogo.png that can be applied to both the KillerIconHelpLoading killer.pngIconHelpLoading killer.pngIconHelpLoading killer.png and SurvivorsIconHelpLoading survivor.pngIconHelpLoading survivor.pngIconHelpLoading survivor.png.

Mechanic

The Endurance Status Effect is a buffing effect applied by various Unlockables, some Powers and Props, and the Twisted Skills.

Survivors

While in the Injured State a Survivor protected by Endurance is able to resist the next instance of damage from the Killer.

Upon receiving damage, instead of entering the Dying State, they absorb the damage incur the Deep WoundIconStatusEffects deepWound.pngIconStatusEffects deepWound.pngIconStatusEffects deepWound.png Status Effect.
Additionally, their Character model is briefly outlined in white while absorbing the damage, telegraphing their protection by Endurance to the Killer.

Survivors already suffering from the Deep Wound Status Effect cannot be protected by Endurance.
Furthermore, if a Survivor performs a Conspicuous Actions of any kind while the Endurance Status Effect is active, it is cancelled immediately, removing its protection.

Survivors only transition into the Deep Wound Status Effect if they do take damage while the Endurance Status Effect is active, otherwise the latter just elapses without any additional effects or consequences.

Killers

Killers can only benefit from Endurance when using the Twisted Skills Special Ability, which is only available during the Twisted Masquerade Anniversary Event in June and July.

When affected by it, they can endure being stunned by Survivors, effectively negating the Stun completely by greatly reducing its duration.

Unlockables

The following Unlockables either inflict or interact with the EnduranceIconStatusEffects enduranceSurvivor.pngIconStatusEffects enduranceSurvivor.pngIconStatusEffects enduranceSurvivor.png Status Effect:
