from CHAPTER 20: Resident Evil™.
Like Leon Scott Kennedy, Chris Redfield originates from the video game franchise Resident Evil, with his outfit most likely taken from Resident Evil 1 Remake, and his likeness from Resident Evil 5.
Overview
Chris Redfield was a part of the United States Air Force, but frequently argued with his superiors, which eventually led him to leave the Air Force early. He was eventually approached by his good friend Barry Burton, who convinced him to join the Special Tactics and Rescue Service, a special forces unit of Raccoon City.
In the summer of 1998, Raccoon City was plagued by a series of cannibalistic murders. With nothing explaining these occurences, the Raccoon Police Department sent S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team to the Arklay Mountains to investigate. When Bravo Team went missing, Redfield and the Alpha Team went into the mountains themselves to search for the missing team and continue their investigation. In the woods, they found the crashed helicopter of Bravo Team with the mutilated corpse of their pilot. A pack of seemingly rabid dogs chased Alpha Team, who lost one member, and were run into a strange nearby mansion where strange monsters ran rampant.

Trivia
- Chris Redfield, along with Claire Redfield, is the first Legendary Outfit to use its own voice lines, as well as Character Portrait, Lore, and in-game HUD icon.
- Judging by his S.T.A.R.S Team outfit, Chris would have been taken into the realm around 1998. In spite of this, he still has voice lines with Sheva Alomar, despite only meeting her a little over a decade later.
