Prestige Alan Wake to Prestige 1, 2, 3 respectively to unlock Tier I, Tier II, Tier III of Champion of Light for all other Characters.
History
While shining a
Flashlight,
Champion of Light triggers its primary effect:
- Grants a +50 % Haste Status Effect.
After blinding the Killer by any means, Champion of Light triggers its secondary effect:
- Causes the Killer to suffer from a -20 % Hindered Status Effect for 6 seconds.
- This effect does not stack.
Champion of Light applies a cool-down of
80/
70/
60 seconds after blinding the Killer.
While having a
Flashlight equipped, you benefit from the following effects:
- Shining the Flashlight grants a +50 % Haste Status Effect.
- Blinding the Killer by any means causes them to suffer from a -20 % Hindered Status Effect for 6 seconds.
- This effect does not stack.
Champion of Light applies a cool-down of

60 seconds after blinding the Killer.
While having a
Flashlight equipped, you benefit from the following effects:
- Shining the Flashlight grants a +50 % Haste Status Effect.
- Blinding the Killer with the Flashlight causes them to suffer from a -20 % Hindered Status Effect for 6 seconds.

Champion of Light applies a cool-down of

Change Log
- Buff: now applies Hindered when the Killer is blinded by any means, despite still requiring the Player to hold a Flashlight for the Perk to be active.
- Quality of Life: removed the condition of holding a Flashlight for the Perk to be active in general, causing its primary effect to be active while shining a Flashlight and its secondary effect to apply regardless of whether the Player is holding a Flashlight or not.
- This change was motivated by the original Activation condition feeling too restrictive regarding the newly added secondary effect of the previous Patch.
