CHAPTER 37: Sinister Grace is the thirty-seventh Chapter DLC for Dead by DaylightIconHelp DBDlogo.pngIconHelp DBDlogo.pngIconHelp DBDlogo.png, released on 23 September 2025 alongside Patch 9.2.0.

This DLC features the following content:

Patch 9.2.0 did not add a new Chapter-themed Realm or Map to the Base Game.


Description

Play as The Krasue, a gruesome Killer with two terrifying forms, or Vee Boonyasak, an electrifying survivor from the rising punk band Axekick. Experience a terrifying take on Thai Folklore rooted in visceral Dead by Daylight: Sinister Grace.

An opera singer consumed by a gruesome curse. A young drummer seeking to make it big. Dead by Daylight: Sinister Grace is an original Chapter featuring a new Killer, The Krasue, and a new Survivor, Vee Boonyasak.

SPECIAL ABILITY: CORPOREAL WEAVE
The Krasue can shift between Body Form and Head Form at will.
Press the Secondary Power button to initiate a shift.

SPECIAL SHAPE: BODY FORMIconPowers HumanForm K41.png
The Krasue always starts the Trial in this state:

  • Regular Terror RadiusIconHelp terrorRadius.pngIconHelp terrorRadius.pngIconHelp terrorRadius.png of 32 metres.
  • Regular Movement speed of 4.6 m/s.
  • Grants access to the Regurgitate special ability.


SPECIAL SHAPE: HEAD FORMIconPowers HeadForm K41.png
This Form provides The Krasue with the following effects and abilities:

  • Larger Terror Radius of 40 metres.
  • Faster Movement speed of 4.8 m/s.
  • Grants access to the Headlong Flight special ability.
  • Grants access to the Intestinal Whip special attack.
  • Replaces the ability to break dropped Pallets with the ability to vault across them.
  • Vaulting times:
  • Longer Pallet Stun duration of 2.5 seconds.
  • Disables the BloodlustIconHelp bloodlust.png Status Effect.


SPECIAL AFFLICTION: LEECHED
Hitting Survivors with a Leeching Gland or the Intestinal Whip fills their Leech Meter, indicated on their HUD portrait.
Once the meter is full at 100 Charges, affected Survivors suffer from Leeched I:

  • Causes the Intestinal Whip attack to incur damage.
  • Causes the Leech Meter to charge passively at a rate of +1.665 c/s.

If Survivors afflicted with Leeched I passively fill the Leech Meter a second time, they will suffer from Leeched II:

  • Healthy Survivors receive damage and become injured.
  • Incurs the BrokenIconStatusEffects broken.png Status Effect, regardless of their Health State.


SPECIAL ABILITY: REGURGITATEIconPowers Projectile K41.png
While in Body Form, press and hold the Power button to initiate the Charge Regurgitate interaction.
Releasing the Power button will cancel it.
Press the Attack button when fully charged to spew a Leeching Gland:

  • Rebounds off of environmental objects and splits into 4 smaller mini-glands that home-in on nearby Survivors.
  • Adds +100 Charges to the Leech Meter of Survivors hit with either projectile-type, filling it completely.
    • Cannot exeed Leeched I.

Regurgitate has a cool-down of 2.5 seconds.

SPECIAL ABILITY: HEADLONG FLIGHTIconPowers GoLow K41.png
While in Head Form, with the Power Gauge filled to at least 25 %, press and hold the Power button to speed through the air at 7.0 m/s:

  • The Power Gauge has a capacity of 12 Charges.
  • Flying depletes the Power Gauge at a rate of -1 c/s.
  • The Power Gauge recharges at a rate of +0.4 c/s.


SPECIAL ATTACK: INTESTINAL WHIP
While in Head Form, press the Attack button to lash out with your internal organs:

  • Ignores obstructions for the initial 0.35 seconds of the attack.
  • Adds +34 Charges to the Leech Meter of hit Survivors, partially filling it.
    • Cannot exceed Leeched I.
  • Damages Survivors already afflicted with at least Leeched I.


SPECIAL ITEM: GLOWING FUNGUSIconItems glowingFungus.png
The Glowing FungusIconItems glowingFungus.pngIconItems glowingFungus.pngIconItems glowingFungus.png can be found randomly throughout the environment.

  • Can be eaten by Survivors afflicted with Leeched I to lower their Leeched Meter over time.
    • This effect ends after being hit.

The Trial starts with 5 Glowing Fungi located throughout the environment, with a maximum of 6 able to exist at the same time.
Glowing Fungi spawn under the following conditions, up to that limit:

  • Whenever The Krasue transitions from Body Form to Head Form while at least 5 metres away from any interactable object or other Glowing Fungi.
  • After 90 seconds of consuming a Glowing Fungus by any means.


The Krasue's Perks

Hex: Overture of Doom "A hex that plays on the paranoia of others."

Creates a Hex Totem that curses the farthest GeneratorIconHelpLoading generators.pngIconHelpLoading generators.pngIconHelpLoading generators.png from its location:

  • The AuraIconHelp auras.pngIconHelp auras.pngIconHelp auras.png of the Cursed Generator is highlighted in yellow.
When a Survivor repairs the Cursed Generator for at least 5 seconds, Hex: Overture of Doom triggers the following effects for 20/25/30 seconds:
  • Transfers your Terror RadiusIconHelp terrorRadius.pngIconHelp terrorRadius.pngIconHelp terrorRadius.png to the Cursed Generator.
    • This Terror Radius is set to 32 metres.
  • Grants the UndetectableIconStatusEffects undetectable.png Status Effect.
Once the Cursed Generator is repaired, the next farthest Generator becomes cursed.
The Hex Effects persist until the Hex Totem is either blessed or cleansed by a Survivor, disabling it for the remainder of the Trial.

Whenever you hook a Survivor for the first time, Ravenous gains +1 Token, up to a maximum of 4 Tokens.
Once you accumulate 4 Tokens, all Survivors suffer from the following effects:

  • Causes them to scream.
  • Inflicts the ExposedIconStatusEffects exposed.png Status Effect for 40/50/60 seconds.

Wandering Eye "Bloodied prey surrounds you, vying for your attention."

Whenever you start chasing a Survivor, Wandering Eye triggers the following effect:

  • The AurasIconHelp auras.pngIconHelp auras.pngIconHelp auras.png of all other injured Survivors within 20 metres of your location are revealed to you for 5 seconds.
Wandering Eye has a cool-down of 40/35/30 seconds.

  • Increases your Recovery rate from that Status Effect by 5/7.5/10 %.
Ghost Notes does not cause the Exhausted Status Effect.

While standing and idle, press the Active Ability button to start a Performance:

  • Lasts for up to 15 seconds.
  • Empowers Survivors within 16 metres of your location.
  • Triggers continuous Skill ChecksIconHelp skillChecks.pngIconHelp skillChecks.pngIconHelp skillChecks.png.
After successfully completing the Performance, empowered Survivors performing Healing or Repairing actions benefit from the following effect for 90 seconds:
  • Increases the chances of triggering Skill Checks by +20 %.
One-Two-Three-Four! has a cool-down of 110/100/90 seconds after cancelling or completing the Performance.

While injured and repairing a GeneratorIconHelpLoading generators.pngIconHelpLoading generators.pngIconHelpLoading generators.png, regular Skill ChecksIconHelp skillChecks.pngIconHelp skillChecks.pngIconHelp skillChecks.png have the following effects:

  • Gain +1 Token for Great Repair Skill Checks.
  • Gain 0 Tokens for Good Repair Skill Checks.
  • Lose -1 Token for Failed Repair Skill Checks.
Once you accumulate 6/5/4 Tokens, consume all Tokens to benefit from the following effect:
  • Increases your Healing speed by +100 % until you stop healing.
Road Life deactivates after use and does not activate while suffering from the BrokenIconStatusEffects broken.png Status Effect.
Road Life does not interact with special Skill Checks triggered by outside effects.
