Bill's Info

Back to fight another day

It took two tours in Vietnam, a handful of medals, a knee full of shrapnel, and an honourable discharge to get William "Bill" Overbeck to stop fighting. He hated it. After decades spent drifting aimlessly through dead end jobs, Bill went in for a routine surgery and woke up to a plague turning normal people into mindless killing machines. Making his way through rural ghost towns and pitch-black forests, he found other survivors, and together they fled from the infected hordes. In the end, one of them sacrificed himself to ensure their safety. Bill was left for dead...and with a new enemy to fight.

Bill's Perks

Bill is tough as nails and knows how to survive just about anything. He'll do whatever it takes to help others live to see another day and he's not afraid to take one for the team.

Trivia

  • "Left Behind' was the first licensed chapter to originate from video games.
  • For a long time, Left Behind was not available on the various Console Versions of Dead by Daylight.

Paragraph DLC

  • Left Behind introduced the concept of DLCs featuring just one Character only adding a "Paragraph" to Dead by Daylight, rather than a full "Chapter".
    • This is why this DLC was originally known as PARAGRAPH 1: Left Behind.
  • However, this concept was quickly abandoned, with the next two such DLCs only unofficially being referred to as Paragraphs.
    • The concept was eventually replaced with the Half-Chapters.

Cosmetic Characters

  • Left Behind was released long before the existence of the In-Game Store introduced the concept of Cosmetic Characters.
    • This is why despite the four Original Survivors of Dead by Daylight each receiving a full Outfit Costume of a Character featured in Left 4 Dead, they are only available as a set of individual pieces and also do not feature a special portrait.
