CHAPTER 27: Tools of Torment was the twenty-seventh Chapter DLC for Dead by Daylight
, released on 7 March 2023 alongside Patch 6.6.0.
It was retired on 14 May 2024 and its content incorporated into the Endless Hunt Pack Chapter Pack DLC.
When it was separate still, it featured the following content:

Additionally, Patch 6.6.0 updated the Map Shelter Woods in the Realm of The MacMillan Estate to incorporate a new Chapter-themed Landmark main building: the Hunting Camp of The Skull Merchant
Content Availability
While the Chapter's content was incorporated into the Endless Hunt Pack Chapter Pack DLC, its content can still be purchased separately in the In-Game Store
, including the formerly exclusive Cosmetic Pieces for The Skull Merchant, Thalita and Renato.
With the retirement of the DLC, its content has been permanently halved in price, with The Skull Merchant and Thalita & Renato costing 250 Auric Cells
or 4,500 Iridescent Shards
each.
Trivia
- Tools of Torment marked the first time two Survivors were featured as part of an Original Chapter DLC.
- Previously, only Licensed Chapter DLCs had occasionally featured two Survivors.
