	This chain is stained with a foul substance that afflicts anyone it touches with debilities. Survivors hit with the Chainsaw suffer from the following effects: Slightly reduces their Repair speed until fully healed. Considerably increases their Healing time.

	This chain is stained with a foul substance that debilitates anyone it touches. Survivors hit with the Chainsaw suffer from the following effects for 120 seconds: Reduces their Repair speed by -9 %. Mangled Status Effect. Begrimed Chains does not stack with other Chain Add-ons.

	This chain is stained with a foul substance that debilitates anyone it touches. Causes Survivors hit by Bubba's Chainsaw to drop any carried Item.

• Buff: increased the Repair speed de-buff to -9 %.

Patch 1.7.0

• Nerf: added a Timer of 120 seconds to the penalty effects.

Patch 3.0.1

• Nerf: removed the modifier to increase the Mangled effect by +50 %.

Patch 4.1.0

• Change: the Add-on is no longer shared between The Cannibal and The Hillbilly.
• Change: lowered the Rarity from Very Rare to Rare .
• Rework: now causes Survivors to drop their Items when hit by Bubba's Chainsaw.

Patch 7.5.0

• Change: Begrimed Chains is once again shared between The Cannibal and The Hillbilly, but now has a different effect with either Power.
  • Its effect did not change for Bubba's Chainsaw.

Trivia

• Prior to Patch 4.1.0, Begrimed Chains was a shared Add-on between The Cannibal and The Hillbilly that had the same effect on both Killers.
  • As of Patch 7.5.0, the Add-on is once again shared between the two Killers, but has a different effect for either Power.
  • Begrimed Chains was originally reworked into LoPro Chains for The Hillbilly, until it returned with Patch 7.5.0.
