Prestige Nea Karlsson to Prestige 1, 2, 3 respectively to unlock Tier I, Tier II, Tier III of Balanced Landing for all other Characters.

After falling from a height, you benefit from the following effects:

  • Reduces the duration of the Stagger upon landing by -75 %.
  • Suppresses all noises related to falling from height.
  • Grants a +50 % HasteIconStatusEffects haste.pngIconStatusEffects haste.pngIconStatusEffects haste.png Status Effect for 3 seconds upon landing.
Balanced Landing causes the ExhaustedIconStatusEffects exhausted.pngIconStatusEffects exhausted.pngIconStatusEffects exhausted.png Status Effect for 60/50/40 seconds.
Balanced Landing cannot be used when Exhausted.

Change Log

Patch 1.3.0

  • Buff: increased the sprint duration on Tier III to 3 seconds.
  • Buff: decreased the activation cool-down to 40 seconds.

Patch 1.5.0

  • Change: Balanced Landing now causes and is affected by Exhaustion, preventing the combined use of multiple sprint-inducing Perks.

Patch 2.0.0

  • Buff: changed the Stagger Effect reduction to 75 % across all Tiers.
  • Buff: changed the sprint upon landing to be available across all Tiers.

Patch 3.4.0

  • Nerf: changed the Stagger Effect reduction to be deactivated during Exhaustion.
  • Buff: now completely muffles all grunts from falling while not Exhausted.


Trivia

  • On the original website for Dead by Daylight, Balanced Landing featured a different flavour text from its in-game version: "I've always thought of myself as a cat."
  • Falling from a height of 4 metres or more is considered falling from an upper floor and fulfils the "Falling from Great Height" requirement of certain Challenges featured in TomesT UI icon Archives Tome.pngT UI icon Archives Tome.pngT UI icon Archives Tome.png.
