Auric Cells

		Very little is known of The Entity's biological workings and the exact purpose of the Auric Cell still eludes me. There are nevertheless strong correlations to be made between the Cell and The Entity's faculty to shape the world that imprisons us. Are they the primordial building blocks to everything we see within The Fog? Can we harness their power?

Auric Cells (AC) are one of 7 in-game currencies in Dead by Daylight

Overview

Auric Cells are a Player's Store currency.

They are used to purchase Characters and Customisation Items in the in-game Store.

Auric Cells can generally only be acquired by purchasing them through the in-game Store.
The Premium Track of The Rift only refunds the 1,000 Auric Cells one had to spend to purchase it, given one reaches Level 70.

Lore

Auric Cells are the building blocks of the Realms of The Entity, they make up everything that manifests itself in the Realms, except for the Characters.

Obtaining

Auric Cells can be bought from the in-game Store.
They are available in 6 different Packs:

500 Auric Cells	1100 Auric Cells includes +10 % Bonus	2250 Auric Cells includes +12.5 % Bonus	4025 Auric Cells includes +15 % Bonus	6000 Auric Cells includes +20 % Bonus	12500 Auric Cells includes +25 % Bonus

Mobile

Akin to Iridescent Shards, Dead by Daylight Mobile used to grant the Player Auric Cells upon progressing their Player Account Level.

Additionally, Mystery Boxes also had a chance to spawn a pack of Auric Cells.

Spending Cells

In-game Store

Characters

All Characters (both 'original' and 'licensed') can be bought for 500 Auric Cells.

Older Original Characters (up to and including CHAPTER 27: Tools of Torment) are discounted to 250 Auric Cells.

Even older Original Characters (up to and including CHAPTER 9: Shattered Bloodline) are discounted to 125 Auric Cells.

Cosmetics

All Cosmetics can be purchased for Auric Cells and are also always immediately available in that currency (Cosmetics for Original Characters only receive a price in Iridescent Shards after four weeks in the Store).

The only exceptions are Cosmetics which were designed by Community Members during the yearly Design Contests and those associated with the Left 4 Dead franchise, which can only be bought with Iridescent Shards.

Purchasing an entire Outfit with Auric Cells will provide a discount over buying the individual pieces, unlike with Iridescent Shards.
