Change Log

Patch 1.5.0

  • Rework: Adrenaline now causes the Exhausted Status Effect for 60/50/40 seconds while ignoring existing ones.
  • Buff: now activates as soon as an Exit Gate receives power, rather than when one is opened.
  • QoL: updated the Perk with the Haste Status Effect.
  • QoL: Adrenaline is paused if its user is disabled at the moment it should take effect (i.e. being carried or hooked) and will instead activate once freed.

Patch 1.8.1

  • Buff: now heals 1 Health State, no matter the state the Survivor was in.
  • Buff: changed the Haste duration from a variable 3/5/5 seconds to a fixed 5 seconds across all Tiers.
  • QoL: Adrenaline now wakes up Survivors inside the Dream World.

Patch 7.7.0

  • Nerf: no longer pauses if its user is disabled at the moment of activation.
  • Nerf: no longer wakes Survivors inside the Dream World.
    • This change brings Adrenaline in line with the general shift away from effects that target specific Killer Powers.
  • Nerf: reduced the Haste duration from 5 seconds to 3 seconds.

Trivia

  • On the original Developer Website, Adrenaline featured a different flavour text: "I've never missed a race, I always reach the finish line!"
  • Adrenaline will heal Survivors to the following Health States upon triggering:
    • Injured Survivors become healthy.
    • Dying Survivors or those suffering from the Deep WoundIconStatusEffects deepWound.pngIconStatusEffects deepWound.pngIconStatusEffects deepWound.png Status Effect become injured.
    • Survivors suffering from the BrokenIconStatusEffects broken.pngIconStatusEffects broken.pngIconStatusEffects broken.png Status Effect are not healed if injured, but still receive the Haste Status Effect.
  • Before Patch 7.7.0, Adrenaline would be put on hold if a Survivor was disabled at the moment of the Gates receiving power and apply its effects retroactively.
    • If a Survivor was being carried, Adrenaline would trigger right after the Killer dropped them, they wiggled free, or they were rescued with a stun.
      • If the Killer, however, managed to hook a Survivor, the Perk would become disabled.
    • If a Survivor was hooked, Adrenaline would trigger right after they would be unhooked.
