1 Year Anniversary
The 1 Year Anniversary was an Event that lasted from 14 June 2017 - 20 June 2017, to celebrate the first Anniversary of Dead by Daylight
.
Overview
Each day of the Event introduced a new community-wide challenge in which both Killers and Survivors had to work together to achieve set goals for the challenge. The reward for completing each challenge were two cosmetics, one for a Killer and one for a Survivor.
Completing all 5 Challenges resulted in a special reward.
A Blood Hunt lasted for the entire event.
The event also added the Offerings
Escape! Cake
, Survivor Pudding
, and Bloody Party Streamers
for 100 % additional Bloodpoints in all categories and temporarily (for the duration of the event) disabled the 25 % and 50 % Bloodpoints Offerings spawning in the Bloodweb
.
Daily Challenges
Daily Challenges started each day at 10 AM EST and went on for 24 hours, deadline being 9:59 AM EST the following day. The whole community could participate, but it was not a requirement to get the rewards upon achieving the challenges.
Milestones were posted regularly on the Developers' social media and the Steam Forums to keep the community up-to-date on each challenge's progress.
All 5 daily Challenges were completed, causing the Day 6 reward to be given out.

Day 6: SURPRISE!
The Surprise, which required all five challenges to be completed, was the Groaning Storehouse, the fifth map for the MacMillan Estate Realm.
Furthermore, the Developers made another surprise announcement by releasing the silhouette of The Huntress, and a promise of the accompanying CHAPTER 5 being free.
